Sogno
February 14th 2006 - June 16th 2007
When life no longer held any future for him anymore, he very bravely flew away...
On June 16th 2007 Sogno very peacefully passed away in my arms.

How it all began...
"Hi there!
Let me start by introducing ourselves to you. My name is Sogno and I am a Lagotto Romagnolo pup, also known as an Italian Truffle dog. I was born in 2006, on February the 14th, Valentine’s Day! How neat is that?? 
I am not an ordinary Lagotto Romagnolo, noooo…I am a non-breed specific specimen. All my family members have long, curly coats where I have a short, non-curly coat, cool heh? 
On May the 20th, 2006, I came to live with Saskia, my owner, and I will start learning how to help her with all kinds of things. You see, Saskia is wheelchair bound. However, before I can help her, I will have to go to the “
Service
Dogs
School
”, and Saskia thought it would be really nice to share our adventures with all of you. And come to think of it…. I think I like that as well

This is where it all started, my life with Sogno...not knowing that Sogno's life would be so short...much too short. But even for this brief period of time, it has been a truly magical and wonderful experience. Worth being remembered...
